Software for pharma industry from Microsoft

NEW DELHI: Microsoft India on Friday launched software aimed at providing pharmaceutical industry a single solution for its financial, supply chain management and manufacturing processes.

The software, 'B2B Pharma', has been developed in collaboration with Hyderabad-based enterprise solutions company B2B Software, a release from Microsoft said here.

The new software would help pharma companies in aligning their business processes as well as access the information required to make decisions, it said.

It is based on Microsoft Dynamics Nav platform, the release said, adding that the solution would fit the needs of small manufacturers, distributors and traders involved in pharma industry.

"B2B Pharma offers integrated business applications that will allow small and mid-sized companies in pharma industry connect employees, customers and suppliers for improved efficiency," Mr Sushant Dwivedy, Business Group leader, Microsoft Business Soluti ons, said. - PTI
